DáNeth

Name-DáNeth

Gender-Stallion
Species-Spirit Horse (Latharan)
Max picture rating- PG-13 Nudity is okay if drawn as an anthro, but nothing outright pornographic please.
Anthro/Normal/Were (Specify character type)- Normal or as is.
If inspired to try and draw an anthro version of him that’s okay too.
DáNeth is a fully ascended Latharan but he started out life as a normal horse and if someone would like to draw him “pre-ascended” that would be okay too.
Eye Colour- No eyes, just empty skull sockets. They can be drawn as “glowing” empty eye sockets if preferred.
Hair(Colour, length, type, etc.)- Very dark purple, almost black, sort of sparse and course.
Mane lays flat against against the neck. Tail should be drawn with a few sparse hairs at the end (like a zebra tail.)
Physical Description- DáNeth is a black skull-headed spirit horse with an elaborately painted face.
He has draconic leathery wings which are also painted with elaborate designs. Like all Latharans, he was bred to serve the gods,
DáNeth served the gods of the desert native American tribes. He is said to be born of a sand painting and that’s where his “markings” come from.
Accessories (clothing, jewelry, etc.)- Native American decorations such as feathers and beads may be tied into his hair.
If someone would like to draw tack for him that would be okay too.
Personality- Somewhat ominous, not viscous, but powerful. Aware of other realms and disconnected from this one.
Reference Pictures-
This is DáNeth’s character sheet as of now. Don’t worry about getting all his markings/paintings perfectly correct
if you are trying to draw him, a little variability is okay!

A little about Latharans:
The Latharan, an ancient breed of horse fabled to carry draconic blood, bearing great leathery wings
and a disposition not altogether benign.
Legend claims the ancient Gods harnessed their power to transverse the realm of the dead and the living,
for they are believed to be a conduit between the two. Latharans begin their lives as normal mortal horses with vestigial dragon wings,
many grow up and live their lives as such, but a few reach their enlightened draconic form and gain the powers and knowledge needed to serve the gods.
The ancient methods used to achieve this transformation have been lost in modern times as well as most of the Latharan blood line.
Seeing a Latharan is often associated with imminent death but not always. It can also be a harbinger of great change.
